The 8" steel head can withstand thousands upon thousands of strikes without deforming, and is specifically angled to project all bullet spall to the bottom rear and sides of the target stand. This allows the shooter to safely engage the target from distances as close as 7 yards, and as far away as they can shoot.

The Handgun Trainer is designed specifically for defensive handgun loads with a velocity of 1,500 fps and below. Higher velocity loads will divot the steel target head, and it will no longer be safe to shoot.
